Preparing for your Pet’s Surgical/Dental Visit - Petlove Veterinary Hospital

To ensure a smooth and safe surgical procedure for your pet, please carefully review the following guidelines before your visit:

Feeding and Medications

Do not feed your pet after midnight the night before surgery.
Water is allowed and encouraged until you leave for the hospital.
If your pet is taking any medications, please consult with your veterinarian ahead of time, as dosage adjustments may be necessary on the day of surgery.

Drop-Off Information

Drop-off times are:

Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM
Sunday: 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM
During drop-off, be prepared to share details about your pet’s health and current condition. This will help our team provide the best possible care.

Consent and Authorization

You will need to sign an anesthesia consent form and any necessary authorization or estimate forms to proceed with diagnostic, surgical, or medical services.
A deposit for the estimated fees will be required at this time.
Please allocate 20–30 minutes for completing paperwork and the drop-off process.

Pick-Up Instructions

Most pets are ready to go home between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM on the day of their procedure.
